WORK and education

SENIOR DIGITAL DESIGNER
August 2021 - Present

I’m currently Senior Digital Designer at Chisholm Hunter, working at the heart of the Marketing and E-Commerce team. I lead on all things design, across digital, print, and in-store, with a particular focus on brand consistency, visual storytelling, and making things look (and work) beautifully.

I manage and mentor a small team consisting of a junior designer, e-com assistants and a social coordinator, overseeing everything from nationwide POS campaigns to website design, and keep our asset library and brand guidelines running smoothly.

I’ve also stepped into broader marketing roles, such as coordinating seasonal photoshoots, managing comms with our stores & partner brands, and making sure every detail (from jewellery styling to call sheets) is covered.

In short: I wear a lot of hats, and I like making things happen.

WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENED

A look at the studios, companies, and teams I’ve been part of over the years, places where I learned, collaborated, and created work I’m proud of.

CHISHOLM HUNTER

MIDDLE-WEIGHT GRAPHIC DESIGNER
September 2020 - August 2021

I started at Logo Labels as the sole designer, handling everything from file prep for laser engraving and vinyl cutting to print-ready artwork, all in a fast-paced, high-output environment. Very hands-on, and a brilliant crash course in self-management.

When the same team launched Cora Graphics, I came along for the ride.

I helped build the brand from scratch (I even named it!), managed all design work, and created tools like a catalogue system to streamline orders. I was a key contributor in launching the company’s vehicle graphics programme, all while single handedly running day-to-day artwork production. I worked independently but always felt part of the team, whether I was in the office, remote, or halfway between the two.

It was a small setup doing big things, and a real turning point for me as a designer.

JUNIOR DESIGNER
September 2014 - October 2014

On loan from Kenwil

GRAPHIC DESIGNER & STUDIO TECHNICIAN
June 2015 - August 2020

I worked as part of a small design and pre-press team, jumping between layout tweaks, file prep, and the occasional bit of tech troubleshooting. Alongside supporting the lead designer, I taught myself how to use Vectorworks and rendering tools, like Artlantis, to bring exhibition spaces to life. Because why not learn 3D software on the fly?

I also got hands-on with production, picking up skills like operating vinyl and Mimaki cutters, and took full ownership of organising my files, keeping things tidy on the server, and generally making sure nothing caught fire. It was a fast-paced, collaborative role where good communication was key, and my Mac maintenance game got very strong.

All in all, it was a hands-on role that taught me to juggle deadlines, details, and devices, sometimes all at once. It was the kind of role where you learn by doing and then doing it faster the next day.
